Originally from southern California, I have lived in San Francisco for almost 30 years. I hold an Master of Arts in Social Clinical Psychology from the famed social-political institution, The New College of California. I have a BA in Art History with an emphasis in art and architecture, and I have been a part of the arts community in San Francisco for many years, working primarily in the arena of fine art auction. For this reason, I work with many artists and students of the arts.
Over the past 12 years, my clinical work has focused on complex trauma, relational trauma, attachment, life transitions, and individuation, to name a few. I have been in private practice since 2005. I am a certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) clinician and use this powerful tool in my practice when clinically appropriate, to help clients with a range of issues that include: eating disorders in remission, phobias, generalized fear, PTSD, and more.
